Good Morning! Yesterday, I had the best day ever. No lie, it was a pretty sweet day. I had my review which went well just as I thought, I got a few units done in my wellness book and I got to hit up the Health Hut for some pretty good bargains! I will warn you now, the pics of my good are a little blurry. I am not sure why they are blurry because when I viewed them after taking them, they were fine! Damn camera, oh well check out the blurry goods:

Some Island fruit pineapple coconut bars that were only $.17 each!

My favorite Oskri Fig Fruit bars that were $1.29 each.

2 bottles of Cranberry Synergy that were only $1.77 each! I have never tried these before, but I felt I had to once I saw the price for each one, this was a steal!

I also got some tofu noodles, a new type of soy milk and some popcorn for Gregg. My total was only $17. I didn’t think it was too bad! When I got home, I decided to have BINNER! On tonight’s menu: Omelets. I sauteed green pepper, onion, mushrooms and garlic.

Once it was almost cooked, I added some spinach.

I added that to my egg beaters with 2 pieces of whole wheat toast and apricot jam and that was dinner…err…. BINNER!

Dessert was a Ghiradelli chocolate and a few apricots.

This morning, I was once again wanting a smoothie. This time I took a different approach. I usually use water in my smoothies but when I saw the flavor I had left, the new soy milk I bought yesterday for only $1.77 seemed to be an obvious choice. I used the chocolate Amazing Grass and strawberries along with 3/4 c of soy slender and ice. The result: a creamy chocolate milk shake!

I also made a small bowl of oats to take with me to work along with my smoothie.

I actually tried something different yesterday. I typically just eat my lunch at noon and not snack through the day. But, I found by the time I got home, I was starving and eating a huge dinner! So, I decided to eat my lunch through the day and see how it would hold me over. Surprisingly, it worked! So, today I brought my normal lunch but will eat it throughout the day instead of all at once. In my lunch I have some carrots, a pb&j, an apple and a fig bar. Let’s see how this holds me over today!
